This in-person assessment combines clinical functional testing, including examination, outcome measures, and functional tests based on Functional Capacity Evaluation approaches — with a workplace assessment.

Ideally, the assessment is conducted at your workplace, with access to a private room for the clinical examination and functional testing. Alternatively, it can be completed at my local clinical facility in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.

For individuals: We can agree whether a report is needed, depending on the purpose of your assessment.

For referrers: A report can be provided that outlines:

- Current physical fitness for a specific job role

- Broad rehabilitation recommendations to improve fitness for work

- Guidelines for workplace adjustments and return-to-work planning

(Please note: this is not a formal Functional Capacity Evaluation)

In many cases, some Return to Work mentoring may be recommended before and/or after the assessment. This ensures proper context for the evaluation, and supports the implementation of recommendations and a safe, effective return-to-work plan.
